The REC qualified consultants at Blue Orchid Recruitment have over a decade of experience working in the recruitment industry and are truly passionate about helping people, either by seeing someone grow into a career they love or helping a business build it’s team and watch it thrive.

As members of TEAM (The Employment Agents Movement) we pride ourselves on the quality of our service, strict compliance standards and our detailed understanding and passion of the world of ethical recruitment practices along with our understanding of the needs of both businesses and job seekers to ensure we deliver a bespoke and high quality solution to our customers.

Meet the creator

Rob Griffiths

Rob Griffiths


Rob started his life in recruitment working for a large national healthcare organisation where he had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles. He then went on to lead the team at a well-known independent recruitment agency in Shrewsbury where he stayed for over 6 years helping it to achieve award-winning status as well as progressing the company to make it’s largest turnover in it’s 16 year history. Following the Covid-19 pandemic Rob created Blue Orchid Recruitment so he could continue to assist businesses and job seekers with their needs. Prior to working in recruitment Rob qualified as a Mortgage Advisor and worked for a blue-chip financial services company. Rob has vast experience in customer service, management and sales and prides himself on his proactive, personable and empathetic approach.

He is a REC qualified recruiter and a member of the TEAM. He also holds a Diploma in Management.

Outside of work Rob is married with two young daughters and resides in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. He enjoys playing the drums, country/hill walking and leisurely running (if there is such a thing!).

Healthy recruitment is also a good indicator of a healthy economy so it’s great to be at the forefront of seeing businesses grow and develop.”
